Notice of Intent to Escheat Unclaimed Funds
Notice is hereby given that the Superior Court of California, County of Calaveras holds unclaimed funds on deposit in the total amount of $3,529.97. These funds have remained unclaimed for three years or more since the date the payment was issued or the funds first became eligible for distribution. Pursuant to Government Code § 68084.1(a), if the owner(s) of these funds fail to submit a claim or file a verified complaint seeking recovery of the funds by July 13, 2026, which is not less than 45 days nor more than 60 days after the first publication of this notice, the funds will escheat to the Superior Court and be transferred to the Trial Court Operating Fund. A list identifying the individual amounts and details of the unclaimed funds is available on the Court’s website at: www.calaveras.courts.ca.gov. If you believe you, or a person for whom you are the legal guardian or representative, are entitled to all or a portion of these funds, you must submit a claim form available on the Court’s website or file and serve a verified complaint no later than July 13, 2026.
