Calaveras County Superior Court, New Court Commissioner Appointed

The Calaveras County Superior Court is pleased to announce the appointment of Daniel K. Richardson as Court Commissioner, effective July 15, 2024.  A public ceremony welcoming Commissioner Richardson will be held in Department 3 on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 12:00 noon.  The public is invited.   

Commissioner Richardson comes to us from the Judicial Council’s Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC). 

Additionally, Commissioner Richardson worked as a practicing attorney from August 2009 – May 2016.

Commissioner Richardson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Studies from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2008, authorizing him to practice law in all California state courts
